‘The Wedding Party’ made so much money its cast got paid twice?

Following the success of the Kemi Adetiba-directed movie, The Wedding Party, a party was put together by the production team on Sunday, February 19, to celebrate the unprecedented success of the film which has so far grossed close to half a billion naira – according to estimates.

However, reports have it that the cast and crew of the star-studded movie who were present at the event got paid some extra cash for a job well done.

Although it cannot be confirmed who got what or how much was shared around at the party which held at Eko Hotels, some of the cast at the party include Kemi Adetiba, Sola Sobowale, Banky W, Somkele Idhalama, Enyinna Nwigwe, Beverly Naya, Ikechukwu, Frank Donga and Emma OhMaGod among others.

The Wedding Party is a romantic comedy written by Tosin Otudeko.

Along with the aforementioned, it also features Adesua Etomi, Alibaba, Ireti Doyle, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Zainab Balogun, Saka, AY Makun and Lepacious Bose.

Released in December 2016, the movie is a collaboration between EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Koga Studios and Inkblot Productions.
