Davido makes up with Asa Asika after saying ‘I’m my own manager’

David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has reunited with his first manager, Asa Asika.

The singer who had previously announced that he “would manage himself” in 2017, announced Asika’s return on Twitter.

“Welcome back yellow man @AsaAsika! Back to basics”, Davido tweeted.

Asika who managed Davido from his inception as a professional recording artiste, was sacked in December 2012 over “financial misappropriations.”

Kamal Ajiboye assumed responsibility as Davido’s manager in January 2013 until December 2016 when the pair fell out. Ajiboye’s Twenty20 Media manages the careers of Lola Rae, Emmey, DJ Neptune, Chidinma, Shizzi, Spellz, and Parker Ighile.

Asika recently served as tour manager on ‘Cuppy Takes Africa reality show.
