Bride-to-be Rosemere do Nascimento Silva wanted to surprise her fiancé by landing at their wedding venue in a helicopter, but she never made it there.

The bride-to-be was scheduled to reach Sao Laurenco da Serra in San Paulo, Brazil to meet her fiancé and their 300 guests. But things went fatally wrong as the helicopter conveying her crashed. The sad incident claimed the lives of three other people.

The sad incident claimed the lives of three other people: the bride’s brother, their photographer – who was six months pregnant – and the pilot.

Police and aeronautics specialists in Sao Paulo have begun investigating the cause of the crash, with one notion being the helicopter had hit a tree during bad visibility with rain, fog and cloud.

The waiting groom was devastated at the altar as their day of joy turned gloom.
