200 Scholarships to be giving to participants at Virtual Nigeria’s Reboot 2016 event
To help address unemployment in the country, Information and Communication Technology company, Global Virtual Nigeria Limited is offering 200 Nigerians ICT scholarships worth $3,500 each. The company, which says that it is the only certified Redhat training centre in West Africa region, announced that the scholarship would help to build a new set of world changers that would bring solutions to prevalent challenges not just in Nigeria but the world at large.
The Lead Training Consultant, Global Virtual Nigeria, Mr Adedayo Adesanya said ” that the beneficiaries would be announced at the Reboot 2016, an event geared towards educating Nigerians about the relevance of IT to the future, especially in terms of Job creation, slated for 14th of December, 2016. “Once you can operate computer, the opportunity is open for you,” said Adesanya.
Adesanya also pointed out that the event is in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and employment and the London Business Academy.
The conference will feature International personalities such as; Dr Esan, Dean of London Business School. Dr Segun Adekunle; Soft Ware Architect, Timi Dakolo. Award Winning Singer and The Special Adviser to the Presidency on Job Creation, Afolabi Imokede.( Keynote Speaker)
